1976-79, Con(jug)ates, (made intermittently with Anolatabulata), a series of seven potentially infinite, closed sets, based on a toroidal subdivision of paired cells. Visual theory provided by curious line and dot drawings first initiated in an attempt to analyze early Universe sculpture. Realization that all previous work embodied some form of spiral transformation. |
